These are 2 pixel art portraits I did of some older Chinese men from some street photography that was part of a longer series in progress. I might get back to it someday.

Just a simple image manipulation generation with Processing.
This Computational Design workshop at CIID has really been satisfying in letting us dig into Processing more than I had when I briefly played with it about a year ago.
Most of the students have minor or no programming experience and I’ve been amazed at what a good tool it is for understanding the basics with visual metaphors.

Sometimes in meetings when things have to be translated from English to Chinese, I doodle caricatures of whoever is across from me.
